Individual Placements: 

AZCC Engages individuals in positions with federal, state and local land management agencies and environmentally focused non-profits. Individual placements (interns) are paired with a local supervisors and these positions offer more technical, hands-on experience in the work of these organizations or agencies and many times provide the training necessary to secure long term employment in these fields. Participants are paid a weekly stipend are typically responsible for their own room and board.

BLM Sonoran Desert National Monument Recreation Intern Phoenix,AZ AZCC has partnered with the Bureau of Land Managements (BLM) Phoenix District Office to offer an AmeriCorps 1700 hour internship position for one individual to perform recreational, resource, and visitor support serivces on the BLM's Sonoran Desert National Monument (SDNM). This is an exellent opportunity for anyone interested in gaining meaningful work experience with a land management agency.
